Fees
If the computer is dropped off to me, and the problem is a common one listed below, I will bill you based on this schedule. If I am working on-site, an hourly rate applies instead of this menu-based fee schedule.
Diagnostics Fee - $75 (to determine the soundness of the hardware/determine whether or not it's worth it to proceed).
Virus / Trojan Removal - $100-150 (depending on severity of infection) (click HERE to see what Geek Squad charges).
Data Backup - $75 (for 10 gigabytes) (Best Buy will add $100 to do 9 gigabytes).
Data Recovery - $175+ (Geek Squad rates HERE, they start at $250 and go to $1600+).
Operating System installation - $150 (Windows discs/license not included, will include major Windows patching, and basic driver installation).
Software Program installation - $25-50 (software not included. This would be for installing Microsoft Office, for instance).
Installing Hardware (upgrade) - $20-40 (hardware not included. This would be for adding a hard drive or upgrading your memory or "RAM").

Normal, everyday billing rate for businesses - $125/hr (after hours rates, emergency rates, and weekend/holiday rates are additional).

Clients that purchase blocks of time (for instance 25 hours) or for clients that have a monthly agreement - $100/hr

Private residential clients - $100/hr

On-site Trip charge is $35, which is waived for clients buying blocks of time and for those that have a monthly agreement. It is also waived on the first paid visit. Dropping the computer off to me and/or remote service via the internet are the two ways you can circumvent this fee.

Pick-up and Delivery Service available for $50 total (not a $50 charge each way).
